Technical Support Officer

I am recruiting for a local authority who is looking for someone to provide high quality technical support and administrative services to the Resident Safety team.
You will be will be responsible for providing a range of technical, project and administrative support to Resident Safety, including updating databases and other information in an accurate and timely manner, and maintaining project files of key documents.
To take a proactive role, taking personal ownership and responsibility for the delivery of excellent customer services within the area; working closely with Property and Asset Management colleagues, Building Maintenance services, other housing colleagues, contractors, and customers to provide a seamless service.
To develop and maintain high quality administrative and management information systems to support the work of the team, and ensure that all key project documentation is filed in accordance with council procedures.
To work in conjunction with relevant senior officers to ensure that administrative and project support is provided to cover the requirements of
different work streams within the team.
Depending on the team location, to be responsible for coordinating Fire risk assessor or Health and Safety Advisers appointments, making the most effective use of resources, and notifying all relevant parties dealing with any appointment changes.
To support the Resident Safety team in developing ongoing improvements to digital record keeping, migrating key documents to new systems as required, and contributing to the development of new procedures.
