Role Overview
Our client is in search of a dynamic and proactive professional with a demonstrated ability to transform ideas into tangible results. As a Technical Specialist, this role demands a distinctive combination of robust technical expertise in analytical science, particularly in Molecular or Elemental Spectroscopy, along with a sharp insight into securing sales in a highly competitive market.
Key Responsibilites
-Collaborate with cross-functional teams for effective communication
-Support sales with technical solutions in Spectroscopy and TOC technologies
-Conduct customer instrument training and address technical queries
-Participate in client engagement activities such as discovery meetings and technical sessions
-Devise and implement campaigns to drive sales growth
-Plan, create, and execute marketing campaigns to promote instrumentation
-Attend exhibitions, conferences, and technical meetings to showcase Shimadzu products
-Stay updated with industry trends, competitor products, and emerging technologies
-Introduce innovative strategies to enhance customer solutions
Person Specification
-BSc in a relevant science subject with a strong focus on Elemental or Molecular Spectroscopy and analytical chemistry.
-Proficiency in Elemental Spectroscopy (ICP-OES, ICP-MS, EDX, AA) and Molecular Spectroscopy (FTIR, UV-VIS & RF), as well as Total Organic Carbon.
-Previous experience in technical sales roles is highly desirable.
-Preference given to candidates with commercial or sales experience in similar roles.
-Demonstrated outstanding organizational and problem-solving abilities.
-Effective interpersonal skills for communication and collaboration.
-Highly motivated approach to technical sales with a strong determination to succeed.
-Must possess a current, clean UK driving license and passport.
