Location: Hereford
Remuneration: £30,000 - £35,000neg + discretionary bonus & comprehensive benefits package
The role of the Technical Sales Timber Products will involve:
- Technical Sales role selling a range of hardwood and softwood timber products including: flooring, decking, skirting, cladding and beams
- The majority of your time will be spent selling into joinery contractors, builders, architects, DIY woodworkers, timber framers, merchants and refurbishment contractors
- You will be the main point of contact for technical timber related customer queries via emails & telephone
- Generating new business, raising quotes & processing orders for customers
- Elements of marketing, offering input to a coordinated campaign
- Liaising internally to ensure orders are delivered on time, stock levels are maintained in preparation for orders
- Dealing with an average order value of £1,000 however these can range up to £15,000
- Contributing to a turnover of circa £1M
The ideal applicant will be a Technical Sales Timber Products with:
- Must have proven sales experience within the construction sector
- Ideally timber sales experience, manufacturing or joinery backgrounds
- Exceptional customer service skills
- Excellent communication skills
- Highly focused and organised individual
- Can-Do attitude with a desire to learn
- IT literate
