As a Technical Gas Manager - Gas Commercial, you will be covering our localities in the South, Southwest England and Isle of Wight. The role can be based out of one of our clients Blandford, Newbury or Basingstoke offices. Ideally, you'll be in the office 2/3 days a week with hybrid working culture with some travel to visit sites in our localities so you will need access to a car and a full UK driving license.
Working in the Compliance Services Team, you will report directly to the Operations Manager - Gas Commercial and lead a team of Gas Commercial specialists to deliver a customer centric, high quality and value for money property safety and compliance services for Client Network Group. The Technical Manager - Gas Commercial will lead on operational delivery of property services workstreams both residential and non-residential portfolio including Repairs, Empty Homes, Planned and Cyclical maintenance services. You'll also be responsible for setting and maintaining high levels of safe working practices in line with Health and Safety legislation and CDM, along with role modelling and setting direction within your team by providing clarity on requirements and supporting individual performance.
What we're looking for:
Technical expertise with demonstrable experience in gas service and repair. Experience of people management of commercial gas property safety and compliance services team, ideally within a large and complex Housing Association. Excellent demonstrable knowledge of programme development and performance improvement in a social housing environment. Gas Accredited Certification Scheme (ACS) qualifications and be Gas Safe Registered. City and Guilds certificate in gas (service) and/or NVQ Level 3 Gas Service, with Maintenance and/or equivalent nationally recognised examination appropriate to commercial role.
