Field Technical Support and Implementation Specialist / 40% UK Travel

The Role:
The Technical Support and Implementation Specialist will play a crucial role in this dynamic team, with responsibilities including:

Providing 1st and 2nd line technical support through phone and email, primarily focused on software products (comprehensive training provided).
Managing service calls, addressing breakdowns, coordinating deliveries, and assisting with product implementations with the utmost professionalism.
Becoming a Subject Matter Expert (SME) capable of efficiently resolving hardware and software-related queries and issues.
Taking ownership of incident logging in the in-house ticket management system, ensuring accurate records and timely resolutions.
Leveraging independent problem-solving skills to troubleshoot technical challenges effectively.
Collaborating closely with sales and customer teams to understand customer system requirements and offer practical solutions.
Handling administrative functions within the Support Team, including hardware return handling and diagnosis.
Occasionally participating in support calls as part of a rota-based out-of-hours support function.

Requirements:
Candidates for this role should possess:

Strong logical thinking abilities and excellent troubleshooting and diagnostic skills.
Intermediate knowledge of PC and Networking systems, including Windows, Office, Servers, Networking, IIS, and SQL.
Previous experience in identifying and resolving software and hardware faults, with a strong customer-centric approach.
Clear and effective written and verbal communication skills.
A valid and clean driving license.
Availability for travel within the UK.
